Find your inner goddess with DefineMe Delphine Hair Fragrance and Whipped Body Polish

Last October I wrote about DefineMe, a natural, vegan and cruelty free fragrance brand fragrance company whose goal is to help you connect with your inner goddess. The scents don’t just come as Fragrance Mists – they also come in Fragrance Oils, Hair Fragrance Mists, Whipped Body Polish and Candles.  All of the scents are complementary to one another, so feel free to mix and match!  I tried Delphine, Harper, and Sofia Isabel.  I loved all three, but my favorite was Delphine…with notes of lilac and coconut it was a match made in heaven. The Delphine Fragrance Mist ($68) is perfect for creative souls.  It was “Inspired by the artistic, creative soul that radiates elegance, this fragrance features floral and woodsy notes with Rosewood, Lilac, Gardenia and Coconut made for those Autumn date nights and activities like apple picking.” I find that this scent is a very unique combination of floral and woodsy, with a little tropical thrown in thanks to the coconut. SCENT WAVE Swell: Lilac + Gardenia. Crest: Ylang Ylang + Freesia. Break: Coconut + Rosewood. This is a truly gorgeous fragrance.  It is soft, feminine, and interesting.  The lilac is warmed by the ylang ylang, which also gives it a sexiness and sophistication.  The coconut is deep and grounding, and the interplay between the flowery lilac and the earthy coconut is fantastic. Knowing that I loved the Fragrance Mist, I was excited to try more products with the Delphine scent. DELPHINE WHIPPED BODY POLISH ($33) The Delphine Whipped Body Polish is a very finely granulated sugar exfoliating scrub that is made in small batches by DefineMe. It comes in a cute mesh bag with a mixing/scooping tool attached.  The body polish is in a glass jar, and with all the beautiful oils and moisturizers (shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, safflower oil) things can get slippery so be careful!  Interestingly, this doesn’t have a separated layer of oil sitting on top of the sugar that needs to be mixed back in – the sugar actually appears a little dry when you first open the jar.  But don’t be fooled into thinking that means the Whipped Body Polish doesn’t have any moisturizing power or scent.  The body polish foams up beautifully and leaves skin gently exfoliated and hydrated.  The scent is strong and true in the jar, and it is very long-lasting on your body as well. DELPHINE HAIR FRAGRANCE MIST ($38) I love catching a waft of my perfume here and there throughout the day, and among many benefits of the Delphine Hair Fragrance Mist I think that is the best.  Besides those tiny gifts every so often, the Hair Fragrance Mist gives hair lots of shine and also fights frizz.  This isn’t just a perfumed water that you can spray on hair…the formula includes lots of nutrients that hair loves. The ingredients include the Delphine fragrance blend made with natural and essential oils, panthenol, chamomile extract, aloe vera and a touch of coconut oil. You can mist this onto wet or dry hair.  I like to first put it on my damp hair right before blow drying, then add more later in the day just to refresh.  The formula does separate, so be sure to shake the bottle well before applying.
